CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Several coyote sightings have been reported in Charlotte, and now the animals have been caught on camera.
A NewsChannel 36 viewer set up a hunting camera at Sugar Creek Road and W.T. Harris Boulevard and captured two coyotes on video. It shows the coyotes walking up to a tree and eating some food.
Ben Homan said he has heard of coyote sightings in Charlotte, but he was still surprised when he saw the video.
"I had heard rumors that they were back there, and once I saw them I was amazed," said Homan. "I was excited to see them, so I thought it was pretty cool."
